Being creative is the bend of my brain. 
Ms. McCarty-Rose has a BA in Communication from FGCU and has been painting and drawing since the age of 5.  She was graced with a fabulous teacher in her adult years. Ann has taught drawing, watercolor, oil and acrylic painting to adults and children for 20 years. She works in series and is currently working on a hand series, gesture series and has recently returned to a mobile/painting series. Ms. McCarty has sold internationally and won awards in regional, state and national shows.  Her artwork can currently be seen at the Arts for ACT gallery.​

Whether photography, painting, collage, assemblage, fabric painting or things that have no exact name, I enjoy the creative thought in my minds eye and then seeing if it can be made real.
